How to Get Soul Coins in Mistfall Hunter: Current Routes
See the current Mistfall Hunter Soul Coin route, expired launch mail, and what the official updates do and do not confirm.
The current answer: use the event exchange, then verify the live shop
As of October 2, 2026, the clearest official gameplay route is to complete Soul Harvest runs, earn the event tokens, and check the Mistchaser Shop for Soul Coins. Bellring Games announced that the shop exchanges items for Soul Coins when Soul Harvest launched. The announcement does not publish a fixed payout, an unlimited farm rate, or a permanent stock list, so use the quantities and limits shown in your current game client. The official notice confirms the exchange route, but event availability, stock, and prices can change; verify them in your current client.
Two separate launch-mail waves each announced 500 Soul Coins, for up to 1,000 if your account was eligible for and claimed both. Both deadlines were September 1, 2026 at 00:00 UTC, so neither can be claimed now. The seven-day Slumbering Contract unlock does not establish a fixed Soul Coin total; read the live track and task rewards rather than repeating old estimates.
Soul Harvest tokens lead to the Mistchaser Shop
The developer describes a two-step route: participate in Soul Harvest to earn exclusive event tokens, then exchange eligible items at the Mistchaser Shop. The official announcement lists Soul Coins among the shop rewards. That is a gameplay-earned exchange route; it is different from picking up a Soul Coin directly from a monster, chest, or extraction reward.
The same update says players can take Soul Cocoons to Richie for guaranteed earnings, while teams can contest ritual rewards. It does not say that every Cocoon or every ritual directly pays Soul Coins. Treat Richie, the event token, and the shop as separate parts of the event economy, and check the current shop inventory and limits in game.
Both launch-mail waves have expired
Bellring’s July 30 and August 1 launch-reward announcements each listed 500 Soul Coins through in-game mail. Both offers had a September 1, 2026 at 00:00 UTC claim cutoff. That date passed before this guide’s October 2 check; opening the mailbox now will not restore an unclaimed offer.
Count the two mails separately: together they announced up to 1,000 coins before expiry, subject to each account’s eligibility and claim. Do not mistake the separate August 5 milestone or August 15 appreciation mail for another 500-coin grant. Some older pages still show the second wave as claimable even though its published cutoff passed. Check your current pass and task screens for any other account-specific rewards; third-party pass totals are estimates, not a universal official payout.
A free pass unlock is not a guaranteed coin amount
The official launch FAQ says the Season 1 Slumbering Contract can be unlocked after seven cumulative login days. It also describes a future renewal tied to maintaining activity, but it does not promise a universal Soul Coin payout in that statement. Open the current Contract reward track and read each reward label; season tasks, pass tokens, cosmetics, and Soul Coins are not interchangeable names for the same item.
Some third-party guides estimate the pass’s coin rewards, but the totals we found were not consistently presented as a current first-party guarantee. Use an estimate only as a planning hint, and let the in-game track determine what your account can actually claim.
Season 2 changes are announced, not active facts
In its September 29 community response, Bellring said Season 2 would add a new seasonal mode and a dedicated exchange shop to reduce the Soul Harvest grind. The post is a plan, not a patch note with a live start date, a Soul Coin amount, or a final item list. Until a new official update and the shop appear in the client, do not count that future shop as a current route.
The announcement also does not settle whether every currency carries over at a season reset. If that affects a spending decision, wait for the specific reset rules and inspect the current item description rather than assuming Soul Coins expire or persist.
Current and expired Soul Coin routes
| Route | Status on Oct 2, 2026 | What the source supports |
|---|---|---|
| Soul Harvest → Mistchaser Shop | Current route described by the developer | Earn event tokens in runs; inspect the live shop for eligible exchanges, stock, and limits. |
| Launch mail (July 30 + August 1) | Expired: two 500-coin offers | Both official waves had a September 1, 2026 at 00:00 UTC login deadline. Up to 1,000 only if eligible for and claiming both before the cutoff; no late recovery. |
| Season tasks + Slumbering Contract | Inspect live rewards; fixed totals unconfirmed | The official launch FAQ confirms the seven-day pass unlock, not a fixed Soul Coin payout. Community counts such as ~700 pass coins or +100 per task are estimates; use the reward labels on your account. |
| Past duplicate-event rewards | Campaign-specific; not a repeatable farm now | Third-party event summaries report that some duplicate Twitch/Gylden Rush cosmetics converted to Soul Coins. Those campaigns have ended; verify a current official event rule before counting any duplicate. |
| Fate Coins at checkout | Community-reported alternative; check checkout | A Steam player reported Fate Coins covering a Soul Coin shortfall at purchase. They remain a distinct currency; this is not a verified earning route or conversion ratio. |
| Slumbering Contract | Free access confirmed; exact coin total not confirmed here | Seven cumulative login days unlock the Season 1 pass. Read the current reward track for account-specific rewards. |
| Season 2 exchange shop | Announced for the future | The September 29 post describes a planned shop, not a currently claimable Soul Coin reward. |
- 1 Soul Harvest run Complete an active run
- 2 Event tokens Earn the event currency
- 3 Mistchaser Shop Exchange eligible items
- 4 Check live stock Verify Soul Coins, price, and limits in game
Official updates describe this run-token exchange route. Check that Soul Harvest and the shop are available in your current client; both 500-coin launch-mail waves expired on September 1, 2026.
How to get Soul Coins: check the current route in four steps
The reward system can change between updates, and the official notices do not give one permanent Soul Coin total. Use this short check in the game client each time you return after a patch. It separates the current exchange from old mail and from unrelated currencies.
1. Confirm which coin the screen names
Open the Mall or the relevant reward panel and read the currency label beside the item. Soul Coins, Fate Coins, Moonlight Nectar, event tokens, and pass tokens are distinct labels. A similar icon or a cosmetic purchase screen is not proof that one balance can replace another.
If an item lists more than one acceptable currency, rely on the exact in-game checkout options. Do not assume a Fate Coin balance converts to Soul Coins or that a third-party price list reflects your regional client.
2. Check Soul Harvest and the Mistchaser Shop
Look for the event status, event-token requirements, exchange item, remaining stock, and any refresh or season limit. The official update confirms the exchange route, and a later hotfix mentions shop limits, which is why a guide should not promise unlimited daily purchases.
Choose a run that fits your group’s risk tolerance. Soul Harvest can add competing objectives and PvP pressure. A guaranteed Cocoon cash-in route may be safer than contesting a ritual, but the exact reward and available choices must come from the active event UI.
3. Review the pass and task screens separately
The seven-day login threshold is a pass-unlock condition, not a statement that every player receives the same currency amount. Once unlocked, check the remaining tasks and each reward icon in your own Contract screen. Do not count a pass token, Moonlight Nectar, or a cosmetic as Soul Coins.
If the pass or a task is missing from the client, check the official update feed for its active window. A saved screenshot from an old season can document what once appeared, but it cannot verify the current claim rules.
4. Ignore expired mail and recheck after patches
Both launch-mail waves had a September 1, 2026 cutoff, and that date has passed. Keep each 500-coin offer in the expired category even if an older page shows the second wave as active. Before counting other sources, read your current season-task and Contract reward labels; old estimates are not an account-specific guarantee.
For a decision that depends on an exact amount, record the current screen and date, then compare it with the official notice. That is more reliable than extrapolating from an old pass estimate or another player’s account.
Do not mix these currencies
| Name in game | What is confirmed | Practical check |
|---|---|---|
| Soul Coins | Named as a Mistchaser Shop exchange reward in the official Soul Harvest announcement. | Read the current Mall/shop balance and the exact price before purchase. |
| Fate Coins | A separate currency; the official launch announcement associates it with cosmetic purchases. | Do not treat Fate Coins as Soul Coins or assume conversion. |
| Moonlight Nectar | A separate reward also named in the Mistchaser Shop announcement. | Check which currency the item’s checkout actually requires. |
| Soul Harvest tokens | Event tokens are exchanged at the Mistchaser Shop for listed items. | Confirm the token name and available exchange stock in the active event UI. |
Soul Coins FAQ
How do you get Soul Coins in Mistfall Hunter right now?
The official event update describes earning Soul Harvest tokens during runs and exchanging eligible items at the Mistchaser Shop, where Soul Coins are listed among the rewards. Check the current stock and limits in game; the notice does not give a fixed payout.
Can I still claim either of the two 500-Soul-Coin launch mails?
No. Two separate official launch-mail waves each listed 500 Soul Coins, but both had a September 1, 2026 at 00:00 UTC cutoff. By this guide’s October 2 check, both had expired. Up to 1,000 applied only to accounts eligible for and claiming both in time; the mailbox cannot restore them.
Do enemies or chests drop Soul Coins directly?
The official Soul Harvest notice describes event tokens that can be exchanged in the Mistchaser Shop. It does not establish a universal direct Soul Coin drop from enemies or ordinary chests, so verify any new drop rule against a current patch note.
Does the free Slumbering Contract give a fixed amount of Soul Coins?
The official FAQ confirms that the Season 1 pass unlocks after seven cumulative login days. It does not confirm a universal Soul Coin total in that statement; read the active reward track and avoid relying on unverified totals.
Are Soul Coins the same as Fate Coins?
No. They are different currency names. The July launch announcement describes Fate Coins as a separate cosmetic-purchase currency, while the Soul Harvest update lists Soul Coins as a Mistchaser Shop reward. Follow the exact currency displayed at checkout. A Steam community report says Fate Coins can cover a Soul Coin shortfall at checkout, but they are a separate currency and the option should be verified in your own purchase screen.
Will Soul Coins carry over to Season 2?
The September 29 developer response announces future Season 2 exchange-shop plans but does not settle Soul Coin carryover. Wait for the final season-reset rules and current item description before deciding whether to spend or save them.
